Sephora- What is Beauty?

Director: Farah Shaer
DOP: Elias Trad

Shot over 6 days, from the scorches of the the Saudi Desert, to the freezing temperatures of an ice rink; Sephora: What is Beauty was a lot of fun with a regular client and crew, which involved a large logistical challenge, live animals on set, and a lot of impressive stunts.

Etihad- Zayed International Airport

Director: Mark Ritchie
DOP: Kenneth Wales/Elias Trad
AD: Reece Lynch/Ryan Domigpe

1700 drones in perfect formation over the runway of ZIA, rehearsed and executed to perfection during a 29 minute window of closed airspace, which saw the deployment of 6 UAV’s & 5 ground camera teams, including a Russian Arm and Techno Crane. Sounds easy…right?

Sephora- Sephora Squad

Director: Farah Shaer/Zeus Merhi
DOP: Mark Hobz

18 eager contestants, 6 long days and 8 hard tasks.. it’s Dubai’s most exciting reality show.

My first job in Dubai, and it was a baptism of fire. Large sets, VIP guests, and unscripted contestants made for a whirlwind week, filled with laughs, surprises and fierce competition.

Sephora- Ramadan 2024

Director: Farah Shaer
DOP: Elias Trad

Back with the Sephora crew, and we cracked out a fantastic Ramadan campaign, inspired by the real stories of 5 unique people. Shot over 4 days we explored the essence of friends, family & support as we captured the beauty behind inspiration.

Lounge- Black Friday

Director: James Clancy
DOP: Mike Staniforth

Who’s idea was it to film a lingerie model, wearing nothing but her underwear, on one of the busiest streets in the UK’s rainiest city? Nether the less, it was a lot of fun- and we even kept the rain out of the final piece. A team of security, cars, cannons, cranes, and a LOT of flying underwear made this a very memorable shoot.

Heineken- Make Your Mark

Director: Graeme Hill
DOP: Paul Mortlock

A challenging one for the art department, with a locked off camera, and the space to be dressed 4 different ways. However it ran a joy; shooting in a very precise order, the campaign was a great meeting of creative minds who all executed their roles flawelessly.

SEMrush- Shape Your Story

Director: Nick Tree
DOP: Daniel Purse

6 locations in one day- from windy rooftops to chilled out cafes- this day was a transport heavy day, with a large crew to keep permanently on the move in Central London. Luckily the prep came in, and with a strong team behind me we aced it, and even wrapped early, delivering a fantastic film in the process.

Tommee Tippee- Groundhog Baby

Director: Graeme Hill
DOP: Nick Bennett

Despite working with talent that was only 2 weeks old, a calm and gentle mood on set made this shoot run like clockwork. Filming the around-the-clock chores was sped up by our lead actor being the real dad, and as a result, quite adapt at all the tasks;

Virgin Media- Paralympics

Director: Axelle
DOP: Jon Dyson

An old one, but a fun one- and one I like to keep in my reel. Shot before the Paralympics, at a time when nobody could attend due to Covid, it was a pleasure to shoot a rallying war cry of support from a host of wonderful celebrities that was broadcast across the nation, and the world.

Mattel- Pictionary Air

Director: Charles Gordon
DOP: Keidrych Wasley

Who doesn’t like family game night? A fun day of board games, bad drawings, and wild guesses as we tried the new version of Pictionary, which streams through your phone, and onto the TV. With children on set, and a lot to draw, I ensured a fun and relaxed attitude on set, which led us to finishing an hour early.
